As the end of the year fast approaches; and I suddenly find myself wanting to escape all the noise of my family I have been recapping all of 2018 and looking forward to 2019. This post I am going to do arguably the most egotistic thing one can do; stunt about how great I am. Yes, I am going to review the predictions I made back in July as part of Reviewbruary (yeah – I know I have said that word too much this year. I don’t think there will be a season 3), because why not? And, it will just help remind me and all you guys just how great I am at predicting things. So, imagine this post is called how great Adam is! I always tend to get predictions right, I did do one just like this last year if you want to check that out.

FILMS TO LOOK FORWARD TO FOR THE REST OF 2018. [DAY 24]

  1. THE MEG
  2. VENOM
  3. HALLOWEEN
  4. FANTASTIC BEASTS: CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD
  5. RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET
  6. BUMBLEBEE
  7. AQUAMAN

Ultimately I think I couldn’t have added any other films to this list to make it anymore perfect. The only concern is at the moment is Bumblebee which I knew would be a good film but it doesn’t seem to be doing as well as any of the other Transformers films and we won’t actually know if it is a success or not until next year. My only regret is the lack of Mary Poppins, but I did state that I thought it would do well. Venom did incredibly well, which is quite surprising due to the mixed reaction it received.

FILMS THAT MIGHT NOT HAVE THE BEST YEAR [DAY 26]

  1. CHRISTOPHER ROBIN : FLOP
  2. THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME : FLOP
  3. THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS : FLOP
  4. THE PREDATOR : ON THE EDGE
  5. THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS : SUCCESS
  6. THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS : FLOP
  7. ROBIN HOOD : FLOP

It is extremely funny that I have watched none of these films except for half of The Spy Who Dumped Me (don’t judge me). Unfortunately I was not aware of the massive scandal that would soon engulf The Predator and because it had a stellar cast and a very easy release date I had faith in it. I really hoped I was wrong with Christopher Robin as it did look really cool, but I guess I can’t defend it as I haven’t even watched it yet 😂. We also have to ask why Melissa McCarthy releases two films a year, all pretty much are the same and perform to the same box office reaction – failure. Although to be fair; Can You Ever Forgive Me does look really good. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms was clearly going to flop and Robin Hoof, well – have you seen the trailer??

Yeah, I don’t know what this was either. Thanks as always. 😉
